Spotify is continuing to celebrate LGBTQ Pride Month by launching a series of video playlists highlighting key moments in LGBTQ history. Each playlist incorporates several different types of video, as well as music from the era or key to the issue.

Billboard can exclusively announce that Spotify has tapped artists known for their work in the LGBTQ community including Miley Cyrus, Troye Sivan and Halsey to narrate a few of the video clips. The series focuses on five major moments throughout LGBTQ history, including the AIDS crisis, the Stonewall riots and the current battle for trans rights.

Spotify worked with GLAAD and Greater Than AIDS to help create this series. The playlists also feature leading activists who were either key participants in the battles, or inspired by them in their own lives. DJ Lina Bradford speaks about influential figures like Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera. Billy Porter, the Tony Award-winning star of Kinky Boots, and Peter Staley, a pioneering AIDS activist, have also contributed to the playlists.

These playlists are an extension of Spotify’s Pride hub, which also includes sets curated by the likes of LGBTQ celebrities Tom Daley, Bob the Drag Queen and iLoveMakonnen, as well as allies like Thalia and LeAnn Rimes. Check out Miley Cyrus narrating 'Around 2 am,' the story of the 1969 Stonewall riots below, and go to Spotify's Pride hub to watch the rest.
