Grammy Preview: Music Experts Weigh in On Song & Record of the Year -- Cardi B, Taylor Swift & More

Looking ahead to music's biggest night, Billboard's Kevan Kenney and Jason Lipshutz, Vibe's Shenequa Golding and veteran music journalist John Norris discuss who could snag a Song of the Year and Record of the Year at the 2018 Grammys.

To clear up confusion: Song of the Year is a songwriter's award and is for the composition of the track. Record of the Year is more based on production and performance.

While Lady Gaga's Joanne might have not been a smash or a shoe-in for other categories, its hit single "Million Reasons" could grab a Song of the Year nod. Other possibilities in this category are Ed Sheeran's "Castle on the Hill" and Lorde's "Green Light."

Kendrick Lamar's lead single "Humble" could tow the line between (and get) both Song of the Year and Record of the Year. A wild card could be Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do," which just made the cut for the 2018 Grammys.

See our experts discuss all of these possibilities in the above video.
